The ULL in bULLfrog jumps out at me, and I like the ULA in CatahoULA but I'm not sure it is a hound dog. The three different entries for Bull Gator split the vote, but whats a Bull Gator? Cook the the pecker headed pepper. The Chicken is retired. Bulldog is retired. Mr. Cajun is retired. Hey Bulldog has ULL in it to. Who thought of cotton mouth. I like Cajun Power hero. Pelican is my favorite, but Tulane has it. I like Gator but there is no choice for plain Gator, besides that would split the Bull Gator vote 4 ways. I do like anything with ULL in it.

Turbine in reply to your question, do you think you would get many more votes from the basketball crowd? You can always run this again in a month or two. For Bull Gator you could include (gator) in title and if it comes down to it do a separte pull between Bull Gator and Gator. Right now if I were you, I would post top three on other forums and request anyone who hasn't voted to do so. Then next week run the new poll of top 3.

While I really love the tangible campus connection with the "BullGator" there is definitly a historical "Dog" connection at Louisiana. Both have history on their side.
The Pelican has a State of Louisiana significance.
