this was such a sad day all the way around. some of the guardsmen admitted later that they were surprised by the actions of some of the students, and the students were definitely unprepared for the actions of some of the guardsmen. a tragedy indeed.

The results of a paranoid government run amuck with misguided overseas adventurism. Pity the poor guardsmen who had to live with the results.
