I really hope we do another series, I want to travel down to Lafayette and enjoy the food!

Im curious, what did you guys think of our team and fans?

I also left out how well your defensive line played. We (fans & coaches) thought we had the best O-Line in the big 12(-2), but you guys were able to get pressure pretty consistently on our big uglies. That has us a little worried for the Thursday night game against Arizona.

Also, who put vaseline on your wideouts hands? If they could have caught a few balls, maybe a few more scores would have happened. I felt bad for Gautier (spelling)?
As I said, your a fans were great and very hospitable. My wife and I stayed in Tulsa with friends of ours who are OSU grads (well she is OSU he is OU but he wore OSU gear for the day although he did comlain of a rash on Sunday). Tulsa has really grown since I was last there over 20 years ago.

As for your team, they certainly look like a top 10 team and other than the picks they looked in mid-season form to me. And while we hear mostly about your offense your defense was just as impressive especially the secondary. Your safety (#11?)was bringing it all day long.

The Tulsa paper wwas reporting a 4 team move to the PAC-10 including OSU, OU, Texas Tech and Texas. I can see the political reasons for the schools listed and you may not have any say in it but I would think that Texas would be the pariah since they seem to be the cause of the Big 12 breakup. And how would the Longhorn network play with the PAC-10 schools?

    1) You guys didn't miss a beat with out Hunter at RB
    2) I would also say you guys have the best overall offense in college football
    3) #10 is a stud on the defensive side of the ball, I could see him in the NFL
    4) The second string QB reminded me a little of Drew Brees
    5) I just don't think the defense of OSU is good enough to win the National Championship...I hope I'm wrong. I'm really pulling for you guys!

I have traveled to many of our OOC games. Your fans were among the most gracious & hospitable encountered. Until this trip, the South Carolina fans were at the top of the heap. They now have company with OK St. Really enjoyed Eskimo Joes too. Planning on returning next year.

ugghhh. Be careful next thing you know you guys will be a bunch of vegans & protesting against T. Boone Pickens and his evil empire!! Those California schools can do strange things to one's way of thinking.

First, you guys have a talented bunch, I believe you guys have improved since we played last year, even with your halftime lead.

Second, the few UL fans I came across Saturday night were very respectful and humble, it was a great experience at the tailgates.

Third, keep your head up. You guys are a much improved team and faced IMO, the best offense in the country while picking off our stud QB Weeden three times. You held our main man Blackmon out of the Endzone which hasnt been done in 14 games. Yes we scored at will and rolled up a bunch of yards (661), but your kicking game was atrocious and you cant give teams like us a short field.

Fourth, yes our Uni's are the ugliest thing to happen to CFB besides Maryland. Hopefully, we figure it out the next game.

Fifth, UL 28 Kent St. 24
I will definitely be in the minority on this one but I thought your uni's weren't bad at all. I liked the grayish silver jerseys to be honest.

You are correct on all other points. Kicking game was terrible and while we did give up a crazy amount of offense, I think our pass defense will be solid this year when we can stop the run and fill that interior. I don't think Blaine will play that poorly as he has experience and has played well in the past. We are traditionally a terrible starting team in regards to opening the season and I think we will be much sharper this weekend.

Kickoff's were terrible not the kicking game, 2 made FG, 4xp and 44 yard avg on punts.
