Mom Goes Into Labor On Labor Day
Labor Day will forever have a new meaning for Shannon Bourque of Breaux Bridge, who went into labor early Monday morning.
By 8:00 a.m., she had given birth to her second child, Laison, who weighed in at 8 lbs 5 oz.
"I'm just so glad that he's out and that I can hold him now," said Bourque. "It's all worth it though, all the pain is worth it when you hold him in your arms."
