What have we done to prove we are better than them? Just because you hear a few positive reports about a new coach, it doesn't mean we're better than a team that beat the s*** out of us last year...at home...for homecoming! Until we prove otherwise, we are not better than WKU.

Jacob & Crazycajuns, I'm sorry I can't remember all your names , but you guys were a blast to hang with & obviously know your football. I got a feeling this is gonna be a good year for UL football. For the Bustle apologists who think that OSU should automatically be able to score 60+ on UL because after all they are the top ranked offense in America & this is the first year of a new coach & new system. I've got a little tidbit of news for you. These guys didn't do all that running, weight work, & offseason conditioning to roll over & let OSU run up 70 on them.

This is the difference between a winner who isn't going to be looking for excuses & someone who is willing to accept less than the best he & his team can accomplish. While I don't think UL has the playmakers to beat a school like OSU yet, I do absolutely expect them to climb onto OSU's back & bite, kick, scrape, & claw, especially on defense, to make this game a bloody ugly mess. I think in the end OSU's talent & depth help them right their ship, but I will be very disappointed if OSU makes it to 40. My final...... OSU 36 - UL 16.

For any LSU fans lurking, man what was JJ thinking? I had these guys picked to be in the NC game. The reason....... Jordan Jefferson. A shout out to those who are delusional enough to think your OC, best playmaker, starting QB, & one of your starting OL can get whacked & some of them within a week of the first game, & it won't even affect you? I love LSU, but I'm a realist. Oregon will sell out to stop LSU's ground attack. They will then send enough pressure to force Jarret Lee into the pocket & make throws outside the numbers & down field. CAN HE DO IT? I still think this guy has to prove he is a division 1 QB. Saturday night we'll find out.
    My Final........ Oregon 31 - LSU 20

I have never been so ready for the preseason to be over. I can't believe the NFL scheduled teams that play each other during the regular season to play during the preseason. In years past, I can remember watching the Saints show absolutely nothing during the preseason, & be told they were keeping it vanilla, only to find out three weeks into the real deal that there was no other flavor in the freezer. I have never seen a coaching staff work so hard to hide anything as this staff did this year. I think the Saints are going to pull the whole can of whip@$$ out on the Packers this Thursday night.
My Final........ Saints 45 - Green Bay 23
I am considering going to the next coaches show that will be at walkons. I do like to listen to the show. Can you hear J and coach from inside of walkons?

You can, but the bigger the audience gets, the more speakers they will put on & the easier it will be to hear it.

IMO, WKU successfully implementing their gameplan was alot easier of a task than what the Cajuns face.
This is true, but the diffrerence in UL being able to stop OSU & stretching the field & making OSU make mistakes simply comes down to conditioning, depth, rotating players in & out to keep guys fresh, & coaching. Can I put my guys in a place to take advantage of something their guy might do wrong? When I get my guy there, is he atheletic enough to take advantage of that mistake? Can my guys be as physical in the fourth quarter as their guys are? Will their guys be in as good a shape as my guys? Can I get up early & put some pressure on them to do something stupid? Can I get my guys to keep within the framework of our game plan if they get up early? These are all questions that a top notch coaching staff asks themselves & figures out answers to in their game plan. I don't think Bustle ever took many of these questions into account when figuring a game plan. Hince the Hudism, " he can take his & beat yours & then take yours & beat his."

    1996 UL>A&M . . . until they beat UL again?

    2010 WKU>UL . . . but not this year.
