This is true, but the diffrerence in UL being able to stop OSU & stretching the field & making OSU make mistakes simply comes down to conditioning, depth, rotating players in & out to keep guys fresh, & coaching. Can I put my guys in a place to take advantage of something their guy might do wrong? When I get my guy there, is he atheletic enough to take advantage of that mistake? Can my guys be as physical in the fourth quarter as their guys are? Will their guys be in as good a shape as my guys? Can I get up early & put some pressure on them to do something stupid? Can I get my guys to keep within the framework of our game plan if they get up early? These are all questions that a top notch coaching staff asks themselves & figures out answers to in their game plan. I don't think Bustle ever took many of these questions into account when figuring a game plan. Hince the Hudism, " he can take his & beat yours & then take yours & beat his."
we have not outplayed them the past two years. We got lucky with the game we won 2 years ago. Then WKU comes in, at cajun field, for homecoming and whips our a**. What have we done to prove we are better than them? yes this is a new year, but you cant say UL>WKU based off of nothing. It just doesn't make since to me. we got crushed by WKU last year, it looks like WKU got better and somehow we're now better than them?
