VERLIN MOORE
- Two-time All-State selection for Pompano High's Tornadoes, earning second team honors in Class 2A in 2004 and stepping up to a first team selection following a stellar season in 2005.
- Finished a six-game hurricane-shortened senior season with 58 catches for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns.
- In his junior season he had 60 receptions for 1,008 yards and 12 scores earning him the first of what would become two All-Broward County selections.
- Miami Herald ranked him fifth among receivers in the Miami metro area.
- Four-year starter at PHS, he helped lead coach Vince Stephens' squad to the second round of the Class 2A playoffs each of the past two years.
- He is also a starter for Pompano's basketball team and runs on the 4x100-meter relay team.
