  7. Hit 12-of-16 field goals and 24-of-25 extra point attempts for St. Thomas More HS in their march to the Class 4A quarterfinals in 2005. He also handled kickoff duties for most of the season.
  8. Doubling as a punter, finished the season with an average of just over 40 yards and averaged 50 yards per kick in STM's quarterfinal loss.
  9. Joined STM following Hurricane Katrina after attending Holy Cross High School in New Orleans.
  10. Had a pair of 50-yard field goals during the season.

  16. Ely finished 9-2 and reached the third round of the Florida Class 5A playoffs.

  23. Played defense at linebacker during his sophomore season.
  24. Class 3A's state champion powerlifter in the 220-pound class last year with bests of 510 squat, 330 bench and 540 dead lift.
  25. Was the first verbal commitment to this signing class.
  26. Younger brother of current UL quarterback Michael Desormeaux.

  32. Earned All-District second-team honors in both his sophomore and junior seasons and moved to first team in 2004.
  33. Was a two-time All-Parish pick.

  51. 2005 Mississippi Junior College All-State Defensive Lineman.

  54. Three-year starter at defensive end for Fontainebleau High School and helped lead the squad of coach Larry Favre to the Class 5A state semifinals as a junior. He had 45 tackles, six sacks and three caused fumbles during that season.
  55. Was a second-team pick on the All-District 4-5A team as a senior in the hurricane-shortened season for FHS, the state's largest school. The Bulldogs went 4-1 in the regular season.
  56. Also participated in track and powerlifting for Fontainbleau, throwing the discus and finishing sixth in the state in his weight class in his first year of powerlifting last spring.

  71. He was a key part of the Tatum High squad that claimed the Texas state Class 3A Division II title. Made key plays in each of his team's six playoff wins.
  72. Ran sprints for the Tatum track team.
