No it's not low...we are after a lot of guys that are going to make there decisions closer to signing day.

Daylon McCoy was a guy I have been keeping up with sense the summer because he was a guy that rivals was showing us as having offered. All along he was one of the guys I wanted us to sign badly because from everything I have read he is going to be a good one at the next level.

Is it just me, or do the total number of commitments seem low? :confused:

Dont worry Jeff, the buzz around here seems that the coaches are going for more quality than quantity, especially with the limited #. While it does make some like me a lil nervous, there seems to be a sense of confidence that we will fill up with recruits by next week.

Neither one sounds like they were interested all that much in UL as neither took a visit to UL. We hopefully are tooting the Practice Facility and are on as big(good) or BIGGER(better) players.

The University of Louisiana will have 12 to 14 football prospects arriving on campus today for the Ragin' Cajuns' last major recruiting weekend of the 2006 season. At least five members of the group are Louisiana prospects, including one - fullback-linebacker Matt Desormeaux of Catholic-New Iberia - who has already issued a verbal commitment to UL. The other state prospects scheduled to visit this weekend are East St. John wide receiver Louis Lee (5-9, 175), wide receiver-free safety Toren Dixon (6-2, 202) of Baton Rouge-Redemptorist, West Jefferson linebacker Clarence Fultz (6-2, 210) and defensive lineman Blake Ramsey (6-3, 280) of Covington.
