WR Roy James, East St. John, 6-0, 175 -- Great hands and big-play talent. Has 4.5 speed. Has core grades and should be OK academically. Arkansas, Southern Mississippi, Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe are his choices.
WR Louis Lee, East St. John, 5-10, 170 -- Has that exceptional burst of speed (4.5). Honor student with a 3.5 GPA. Is considering Arkansas, Southern Mississippi, Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe.
DT Scott Ward, St. Paul's, 6-3, 280 -- Played defensive line but could be a guard or center in college. All-district as a senior. Has received interest from Vanderbilt, Memphis, Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe. Has 5.0 speed. Fully qualified.
Playing for one of the nation's top rushing teams sounded like a good idea to Hildebrando "Junior" Ramos.
The 6-3, 295-pound center, a two-year starter at Compton Community College in California, gave University of Louisiana head coach Rickey Bustle a verbal commitment one week ago. And it's no longer verbal, since Bustle received scholarship papers back from Ramos Tuesday.
"What they did with the running game influenced me a lot," said Ramos Tuesday evening. "I plan on making sure we keep on doing what they did this year, and next year go to a bowl game."
The Ragin' Cajuns finished seventh nationally in rushing at 254.3 yards per game, and starting center Greg Hodges was one of two seniors on the offensive line. Ramos said he plans on stepping right into that slot.
"I hope I can," he said. "They do a lot of things in the running game that are kind of like what we did here at Compton, so I love that. Running it like that is an offensive lineman's dream."
Ramos was UL's fifth commitment for the 2006 signee class and is the first junior college signee. He will enroll at UL in January and go through spring drills.

Frantz Accime didn't give the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns a verbal commitment because of facilities, or because of the squad's recent football success.
It was all about the coaches.
"It was only one visit," Accime said, "but they took me under their wing, they were very humble and they cared about me. I didn't want to choose a college just because of a weight room or something like that."
Accime, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound cornerback from Boyd Anderson High in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., gave head coach Rickey Bustle and assistant Brian Jenkins a verbal pledge this week. He became the sixth member of the commitment list and the first out-of-state high school commitment.
Accime was one of South Florida's top defensive backs, making the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel's All-Broward County squad and helping lead coach Lawal McCray's team to a 7-4 record prior to an upset loss in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs.

According to Rivals.com, Accime was being recruited by Boston College, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Akron, UCF, & Grambling.
Sounds like we got a great player for the next 4-5 years, I think once we get a few more players on both lines this recruiting class will be a great one!
