I believe there is some brand new turf, slightly soiled, in the Superdome that we can probably pick up for a reasonable cost...........

Nice size, good speed, and look at the schools. Looks like a great catch if we get him.

One of our biggest weaknesses is Defensive Linemen. We don't need a 5'11" 250 lb. DT. We already have a couple of 6' 270 lb. DT that won't cut it. It is time for Bustle to recruit for the defensive side of the ball. We can't stop anybody.

This isnt a blast on Bustle, but I have a feeling, as long as he is here we will probably always continue to struggle on the defensive side of the ball. He is very offensive minded, i am just hoping in about a year or 2, we see offenses like Boise and Texas Tech that puts up 60 pts a game and just hope we dont get outscored!

Not saying I wouldnt prefer a balanced defense, but it seems to be obvious with the last couple of recruiting classes...lots of speed at the skill positions!

I'm just pumped that UL is in the mix for consideration along with some of these big name schools. Football, however slowly, is headed in the right direction. ON the other hand, as much as I'd like to see our offense get even better, I agree with y'all who say we need to beef up our defense with some size.

    God Bless

Its not just bustle, all non BCS schools have trouble recruiting linemen. Its much easier to recruit strong skill position players, that is why we have produced a lot of good DB's and not any great defensive linemen.

This is great and all, and I appreciate the info, but if we don't start winning, and winning this year, we won't be able to recruit period.

One of the selling points that Bustle has been able to use is, "Look at the margin of defeat we had last year as compared to the year before. We are about to turn the corner. You could be part of something special."

Guess what, that recruiting ploy won't work if we don't win this year. I saw some positive signs in the win against Northwestern, but we need to keep it rolling. We put ourselves behind the 8 ball with the loss to Eastern Michigan.

    Let's geaux Cajuns!!!!!!
