He is recognized...but he has already verballed to LSU so you won't here that much about recruiting with him.

In Mitchell's case I have a feeling he will be playing pro baseball somewhere. He will probably be drafted high enough that he won't be able to turn down the type of money that will be thrown his way.
Jacob Cutrera LB of Acadiana High School they are interested in.

Just saw where another LA kid verballed to ucla - a DB from NO named Jeremy McGee. They've already got 5 guys from LA on their roster (alot for a school out here) and are in on more.
Could I have you guys do me a favor and have your staff chase those weenies out of your state? Thanks.
These are the players from the quad state area that are ranked in the topp 100 but have not yet committed.

Hometown 10 QB Mitch Mustain 6-3, 198 Springdale, Ark. 23 DB Jai Eugene 6-0, 185 Destrenan, La. 38 WR Chris Mitchell 6-2, 195 Marrero, La. 25 RB Cordera Eason 5-11, 234 Meridian, Miss. 86 LB Derrick Odom 6-1, 225 Jackson, Miss. 95 TE Richard Dickson 6-3, 240 Ocean Springs, Miss. 97 DB Justin Woodall 6-3, 200 Oxford, Miss. 45 RB Latreal Cooper 6-1, 200 Cuero, Texas 72 DB Perrish Cox 6-1, 175 Waco, Texas 82 RB Mon Williams 6-1, 200 Mesquite, Texas
Complete list Top 100 commited and otherwise.
Mustain committed yesterday to Arkansas and everyone else on the list are only looking at BCS schools from what I just looked at on rivals.
Mustain also has 4 teammates that have verballed to bcs schools.
WR - Andrew Norman - Arkansas
TE - Ben Cleveland - Florida
WR - Damien Williams - Floirda
OT - Bartley Webb - Notre Dame
Some guys from this area that I would like to see UL go after ...
LB - Trae Fitzgerald - plays at Comeaux High and has started for 3 years...he is a big hitter.
QB - Michael McIver - plays at Lafayette High and sure we are set at QB for a few years but you need to recruit a QB every year in case things don't work out with what you have.
WR - Richie Falgout - also from Lafayette High and Michael McIver's favorite target.
OG - Zhamal Thomas - Plays at New Iberia and is rated as rivals # 11 guard in the country also the 6th best player in the state
DT - Jarrod Shaw - from Northside but according to most sources is leaning towards LSU
I know its tough to turn down a chance to get another quality QB; but I hope we go heavy (no pun intended....OK, yes there is) on OL and DL, and LB. We seem to have picked up some nice speed in this last class and time will tell if they are as good as advertised. Ditto on the recent QB signings. Does anyone know how many scholarships we should have available to offer this year?
