Just a question, what happened to the Convention Center at the Cajundome? I went to it last year and I thought it was nice there.

Here is a good assignment for you. The Cajundome(exhibition hall) is charging our athletic department an arm and a leg to hold it there. I called and talked to Coach Troy Wingerter to let him know how much traffic there was gonna be at 5pm on Pinhook, talked about entrances and exits( 1 ), and parking. It seems, they went the Hotel Acadiana route to save money.

It is a shame the Cajundome people wanted $6000 to hold it there. We need to have sponsors in order to cover these cost and have it once again at the Cajundome or get the cajundome to lower its prices. It is rediculous to charge us these prices.

The Daily Advertiser stated we have 22 scholarships to hand out, I count 21 players who have signed. So is there 1 more that may be announced at the bash tonight. Bustle has done this in the past.

Great day to be a Cajun fan! Lots of credit should go out to Coach Bustle and the rest of the coaching staff for a job well done! I really think that on paper, this is one of the very best classes the Cajuns have ever composed.

What would be wrong with the floor of the Cajun Dome?

Do they not owe UL so many days a year usage, and did we not accrue or store up 5 dates while playing at Blackham?

I guess we were holding that 1 for Jamarr Thompson, who has apparently gone with LA Tech. I'm sure the staff has backups for when this situation arises (it always does, even at the BCS schools). I suppose that if they secure the 22nd LOI, they will announce it then (hopefully today). Looks like a great class! Well done!

Nope! They weren't looking to sign any this year. We're pretty stocked at those positions for a couple of years. They might try next year to sign a RB or QB or 2.

I thought we could have used a good receiving TE. This was one dimension of the offense that we can still improve on.
