Thread: Louisiana-Lafayette - Team Notes by Joshua Parrott

  1. UL Football Louisiana-Lafayette - Team Notes by Joshua Parrott

A cloud of secrecy surrounds Louisiana-Lafayette's football program going into its first year under coach Mark Hudspeth.

After opening spring drills to the media and boosters, Hudspeth tightened the reigns and closed access to outsiders during preseason camp for the past month. His hope: To maintain an element of surprise going into Saturday's game at No. 9 Oklahoma State.

"We don't have a very big margin of error, so we've got to make sure that everybody at practice is focused on getting better every period,"

This is something I'm doing as a freelancer. There's still some work to be done on the name battle. Unfortunately, it's out of my hands. Once football starts winning, more outlets will likely go with whatever the school wants to be called.
