Nice size....didn't seem to transfer into power in regards to running the rock! However...I wish him well and hope he can change my opinion of him...would love to jump on the ol' band wagon!![]()
Z, being his last year(of elgibility) we are not trying to rush the time, but we are so ready. Our vacation has been in Lafayette the last four years and Aug. 9 we will spending two weeks again. We go to every practice just in case the coaches have any questions, so far in four years they have not had any. Look forward to seeing ya'll. Tell John hello.Originally Posted by Zeebart21
Based on your list, I'll say Deon Wallace. However, my write-in vote goes to Keiland Williams - former Northside RB.
Keiland Williams will most likely end up at LSUA&M. He is going to be in prep school this coming year in Virginia. From a lot of different sources Ole Miss and LSUA&M r his favorites as of right now. So sorry to break that news to you.
I can't believe the pessimism I'm seeing!
I've been following the Cajuns closley about 10 years. This is going to be BY FAR the best team we have ever had.
The O line is young, but I hope (& believe) it will make a difference. The work ethic of this team is finally where it needed to be. Coach Bustle was given a REALLY bad team. This year will be the breakout.
Oh, isn't pre-season wonderful.
If Levier an hold on to the ball, he will be great. We have a stable of running backs. When is the last time we could say that/
By the way. We have very good quarter backs also.
Next year we will have at least 4 capable QB's. That's a huge improvement.
WE HAVE TO BELIEVE!
I can't say I know much about our runningbacks.. which is considered the most elusive, cutback-type runner? THAT is the guy that will do the best in our offense. The spread option that we run is essentially a misdirection offense, and you need speed more than power in that type of scheme.
my vote is D. Wallace but not until next year. I think A. Leveir (if he stays healthy and stops fumbling) will get around 800 yds. this year.
Our more elusive runners would be Deon Wallace and Harrison. I hope to see Deon used like Reggie Bush at USC and have him line up in the slot and at HB so he is on the field as much as possible.
Personally at RB I want to see Dwight Lindon get more touches out of the I formation because I don't think we have a more powerful short yardage back than him. He is a good football player and even more than that a great guy...If the young backs look to him as a mentor on and off the field you will see a very dedicated group of backs for the next few years.
