I go back to my original arguement... Maybe not the fact that the Lafayette is on the degree, but their could be an arguement that forcing use of Lafayette in the public name hurts the value of a UL degree. Texas (at Austin), Cal (at Berkley), etc... The public use of their shortened names gives them the appearance of having more prominence... Forcing UL to add the Lafayette for public use is a direct attempt to undermine UL's power within the state... or not? heh
