Businesses looking for interns can turn to the B. I. Moody III College of Business Administration at UL. The college has an internship program that benefits both the student and business community. The primary objective of the internship program is to provide meaningful on-the-job experience in a career-related field for students.
To be eligible for the program, students must be enrolled in a major program of study in Business Administration including accounting, business systems analysis and technology, economics, finance, management or marketing. Although the internship program is designed to benefit students, the business community benefits as well. The program provides participating organizations with a pool of high-quality, potential employees.
It also provides an opportunity for these organizations to assess the actual performance of potential employees at minimal cost and risk. The internship program also establishes a link between the organization and the University for future academic interaction. Finally, many of the organizations that participate in the program get satisfaction from helping to develop tomorrow’s business leaders.
