From an OUTSIDER'S point of view, how can you expect much from this team; 3-9 last year with a lot of players using up their elgibility.

We are a different team now and the country is about to find out.

Totally correct. These guys have no reason to trash us. They take last year's record, the low number of returning starters, and a new coach... and after everyone else's stats, with respect to ours, runs threw the tumbler, we come out at the bottom. No prediction of any kind means jack squat.

I have no problem with low expectations... outside of the team and fanbase... then we go out and knock everyone on their ass.

Exactly, this right there tells you how much bull_____ went into these prescriptions. Hell, I wouldn'e be surprised is the Gmen pull off the upset.

Well something has to give, we have a virtual tie.

They have only been right about UL 4 times in their history, and UL has exceeded their expectations only 4 times.

I predict UL will move ahead, and exceed their prediction.

All 4 times we have exceeded their predictions, it has been by only one game. That would translate into a 2-10 record.

That being said, I don't see that happening. I honestly expect a 5-7 season with hope for 6-6. 7-5 with the subsequent NO Bowl berth would be a dream season for me.
