Another Helmet Design Post

On one of the recent helmet design threads, the topic of universities such as Grambling and UGA using NFL logos on their helmets was brought up. I agree that those logos are classy and not some kind of cheesy trendy graphic-ly dazzling work of art. What do y'all think about UL using a red & white version of the Saints fleur-de-lis?

I love the old helmet design with the 3 fleur-de-lis's on it but no one else seems to like it.

I am much more concerned about the quality of play from the players wearing the helmets. But I have always liked the Fleur de Lis.

I always liked the Michigan design... would go nice with the new jerseys

Man...that Michigan-style helmet looks SLICK. I'm not sure how it would look with the rest of the uniform, but it just looks so cool that I'd buy one to have in my living room.

i think if UL put the logo that they put on their letter head would look decent on the helmet and the michigan design doesn't look bad.

Very nice look, must be the colors.

Not unprecedented though in 1943 and again in 1944 UL used the Michigan design
