Guess the 2005-2006 football attendance

I just thought it would be fun to predict the attendance for Cajun Football next season. We had a HUGE year last year in football, how do you all think we're gonna do?

I'm hoping for a slight improvement this year; somewhere in the 23-25K range. Hopefully there are a few more like myself (first year season ticket holder). Even if I'm not in town, my tickets will be available to family to use.

I'd be happy with 19,000-21,000 win lose or draw.

If the season goes like I expect the numbers should be higher.

How 'bout we evacuate 20,000 Sun Belt fans from the state of Florida.....save them from a majority of the hurricaines......and let them watch 3 of our 5 home games against Florida schools.

I say we increase by 5-7000. Would be great to increase by 10K!

If we have a monsoon season like 2 years ago then i'll expect 16,000.

If we get nice weather then over 20,000.

I don't know if this is already done, so bare with me...

They need to push the program more with the high schools... do Lafayette High night, Carencro High Night, etc... Do promotions with the schools, give tickets away, etc... Pushing harder with the high schools will increase the fanbase and help with enrollment... follow the example of the cigarette industry.. hook'em young...

i think i saw a number somewhere around 22,000 for our avg home attendance last year. i say 24-26K this year if we have a winning season.

Officials would LOVE the Cajun Fans down in the Big Easy!! I honetly think with LADY LUCK having the ball bounce our way this year rather than last year(losing the turnover battle, and Jerry Babb "broken ribs" last 4-5 games last year) UL will go to the NEW ORLEANS BOWL this year!

This with the MANY IMPROVEMENTS being made over the past 3 years and A WHOLE LOT MORE THAT ARE BEING WORKED ON will BOOST UL's HOME AND AWAY ATTENDANCE!!

I agree. It will begin in our first home game. If we play great and win...it will carry us the rest of the season.
