All we need is a few drops of Rainey (by Rainey) and the drought will be over.

UL we will win in the manner of A&M 96

They will screw up somewhere they shouldn't, win games they shouldn't, and probably in the long run this will turn out to be a learning year that will end up with a 5-7 record b/c we "messed up" one too many times.

    HOAX still suck!
if we have at least 6-6 talent on this team, and are healthier, better conditioned, and are better coached what leads you to believe we will go 5-7. i'm no rocket scientist, but these things seem to point towards doing better than 6-6 not worse, wouldnt you say?

Did you read his whole post? He clearly stated the reasons why he thinks they will go 5-7. There is still a learning curve that the players have to go through. and when there's a learning curve, that will mean mental mistakes will be made.

Last year with "6-6 talent" on this team, we went 3-9. With about the same kind of talent (and less experience) this year we will probably go 5-7. That's a decent improvement over last year and that's probably what we should expect from a brand new coaching staff. We may have the talent to go 6-6 but we have yet to prove if we are a 6-6 team. and there's a big difference.

3-9 if we catch a lucky break or two. Growing pains in year 1, but we should be really improved in the next 2 years.
