7 wins....in Hud I trust.
I vote 8-5. Yes my math is correct because I'm also including a new Orleans bowl victory.
5+ wins and I'll be happy. Last season was hard to watch!
I have us at 5-7. But like basketball last season, I just want to see us play hard and as a team for a full game. Even if we lose, I expect those losses to be because of a lack of talent and not b/c of poor play calling and conditioning. A big reason why last year was so hard to watch was because of the way we lost those games. It was frustrating.
As Bustle has proven there is 6-6 talent on this team. I think this team "CAN" go 6-6, but with a new HC, new play book, new schemes, etc to learn it will take a while for this team to get going and learn how to do it this new way. They will screw up somewhere they shouldn't, win games they shouldn't, and probably in the long run this will turn out to be a learning year that will end up with a 5-7 record b/c we "messed up" one too many times.
Hud will clean it up and 2012 will take the SBC by storm.....
SBC this is your WARNING!!!
HOAX still suck!
All we need is a few drops of Rainey (by Rainey) and the drought will be over.
UL we will win in the manner of A&M 96
Did you read his whole post? He clearly stated the reasons why he thinks they will go 5-7. There is still a learning curve that the players have to go through. and when there's a learning curve, that will mean mental mistakes will be made.
Last year with "6-6 talent" on this team, we went 3-9. With about the same kind of talent (and less experience) this year we will probably go 5-7. That's a decent improvement over last year and that's probably what we should expect from a brand new coaching staff. We may have the talent to go 6-6 but we have yet to prove if we are a 6-6 team. and there's a big difference.
