Jared Mitchell, MLB or College?

has anyone heard of that guy from New Iberia, Jared Mitchell??, well he is a very good friend of mine and i wish he would come to ULbecause i think he told me that UL would allow him to play both football and baseball but i don't think that will happen

I think Jared Mitchell will end up drafted very high and play MLB. I have seen him play a few tiems and he is special on the football field and I have heard he is better at baseball which is amazing. If he ends up in college I will be very surprised.

now this comes directly from jared's mouth....he said that college is first. The only way for him to go straight and playbaseball would be if the money was NICE, but honestly i think jared is going to go to college (to play both??, i doubt it, that's hard). but that's jus my opinion....o and to add did u know that jared was in cincinatti right now playing baseball for the nation's top summer baseball team, Midland Redskins, go check the webpage out at www.midlandredskins.com

man i try guys, i really do, but jared has pounds of letters from everywhere in the country, places like Florida, Miami, Texas and those SOB's at LSU are really hard to compete with. The thing about Jared is that he's always looking to get better and the only way he feels that he can do that is if he plays against the best players and i don't think he feels that the sunbelt will give him that oppurtunity, but that's him I LOVE UL and always tell him to come join me over here, but he doesn't seem to have any interest. I think the thing we need to do is win a championship (College World Series), then he'll be here

I heard Coach Robe say that Jared was probably the best athlete/player that he has ever tried to recruit that he will probably go VERY high in the MLB draft. That is a very strong endorsement of this kid.
