Yeah. I know that. And I give props to Coach Lee and staff props for all the hard work that they are doing. Sadly the average basketball fan does not see this. The same could be said for the selection committee. Most people just wanna see wins and loss and what big name you played against. That's why the money games are good because it gives us a chance to gets our name out and possible even some television exposure. When it comes closer to March I would rather see (Key wins : Georgetown,Southern Illinios) than (Key losses : Georgia State) like last year.

I think Georgia State owes us a visit. I am 99% sure of it.

We played Georgia St. home and away last year. We may be doing the same this year. Although G St. is not from a BCS conf. they are usually a pretty good team. They have had many conf. championship in recent years and these games should not hurt our RPI.

the media always seems to overlook how well we retool every year. We always have great talent in the fold waiting to obtain eligibility. No matter the circumstances, UL will put out a more than competitive product. To be honest, it might benefit the team being underated early. It's easier when you sneek up on teams when they do not take you as serriously. I'm not concerned in the least.

I believe they have us rated pretty well. We did lose a lot of talent off of last years team. But with that being said I believe we will do better than what they think we will do. At the end of the year we will be 3 peat conference champs and they will not be able to overlook us in 2007.

Agree completely. We just have too many questions to be answered before we can be considered the "team to beat." However, I have no doubt that by the time the SunBelt tournament rolls around, we will indeed be the team to beat for the NCAA berth.

Thank-you very much UL LAFAYETTE marketing department, may I have another.

We did lose 3 potential pros, but what type of contributions did we get from our second string last year. with 2 starters returning (Cameron and Mitchel) and 3 newcomers (Graham, Turner, and Southall) who can step right in and make a major impact, man for man we are better than any team at almost every position. Southall makes us a favorite if only for namesake. No one in our conference has seen Turner or Graham, giving them an advantage preperation wise. Now for our bench. We have arguably the most experienced bench in the conference. Mouton has played 2 years, been to 2 NCAAs, all he knows is winning. Ford will be a senior and has played all over the country and showed flashes in the tournament. Grey had a year to grow and adjust. Hebert has played a year and got a free year of practice. Fobbs has a year under his belt. Hart is a poor mans brian hamilton. Also, with this year's schedulle, who is to say we can't get most of our non conference games. Basketball is all about confidence. We have the players and coach Lee is a master motivator. He does an unbelievable job of infusing confidence in his kids. lets give them our confidence too, instead of selling them short

    All I have to say is....Wait until our skeptics see...D. Mitchell 6'5", L. Grahamn 6'7", E. Turner 6'9", C. Cameron 270-6'11", and M. Southall 250+6'11" as our starting line-up! And a bench that sports V. Hart 6'10", S. Ford 6'7", Mouton 6'6", J. Fields 6'6", A. James 6'10", Barksdale, Gray, Hebert, Woodfox??

Opponents a sure to " " their pants before the whistle blows!
