As of 9:50, the Yankees have signed 18 of their picks. Signed their 20th round pick (HS LHP) for $335,000 and their 18th round pick (HS RHP) for $200,000.

It all depends on the situation. A college senior will sign for next to nothing, while a college junior or high school pitcher has big time negotiation power no matter what round.

I am fully aware of that. But I still am of the opinion those kind of things is what is killing college baseball. I understand the leverage they have, but u can't tell me that they will increase the offer by a 100k to a 20-30 round pick in the final hours of the deadline. All I hope for is that this kid doesn't settle for whatever there final offer is if they don't reach his magical number.

Almost every decision the NCAA makes is screwing college baseball, which still has only 11.7? scholarships for a 35 man roster. Look at Brad Marquez from Texas Tech, who signed for $325,000 but the Mets will spead that out over three years and allow him to continue playing football for Texas Tech.

And Chaz just agreed to terms with the Yankees, as per 1420.

Interesting information compiled. The underlined signing bonuses are for those who signed early and the others are the ones who signed yesterday. There is a noticeable difference in the amounts of money and they didn't have to go play baseball all summer! If you look at the #3 pick Trevor Bauer the 3 guys below him got paid 2-3 million more just to sit at home and play xbox all summer, while Trevor Bauer spent the last 4 weeks riding buses around the southeast. Ouch.

The Cajuns already added a JC lefty in the spring named Chris Griffitt from Bossier Parish CC.

Don't expect them to add any other signees.

Here is more on Griffitt from earlier this summer:
