2005 Football Roster (Preseason)

G.W. Rudick did not get his medical red shirt, he is done.

I' m sorry to hear that, we could have used the depth @ linebacker, even as a starter, which he was before his problem. I had been meaning to check that out since he's been listed in some of the preseason information.

How many are kept on the roster when the season starts?

Doesn't really matter, redshirting is based on participation in a game. One play equals one game equals one season according to the NCAA & you can play four. I don't quite see how this equates with a medical redshirt. I thought that you used to have a limited number of quarters or games participated, in order qualify as a redshirt. Usually players who are at a position where depth is inadequate due: whether it be due to injuries, talent, etc., are on the roster so they can play if needed.

Mike Walczak OL 6' 4" 320 JR (2V) (Pima JC) Chicago, IL is not going to attend UL.

Any idea what happened with Walczak? I thought folks were writing him in as a potential starter next year. :confused:

are you sure jacob lennox is still going to ul because i went to parkview and he got asked to leave and went to live oak and some of his credits got messed up and i heard he lost his scholarship to ul

I went to high school with G.W. and took a class with him last semester. He had so much potential to be a good football player. Big time on the roids.

Clay is his younger brother.

Caleb Rubin is also a fast back. Hope he gets to see some PT.

Does anyone know when the 2005 football roster will be available on ragincajuns.com? Also, does anyone else notice the lack of effort that has been put into the football roster when compared to the other sports which has pictures and also a brief background on the athlete. As I look around on other sunbelt schools I notice a much more in depth roster. I am hoping this years roster on ragincajuns.com includes these important features(pictures and backgrounds).
