My favorite new uniform combination for 2011 is...

I can see me liking the uniforms if I see them hoisting a bowl trophy. I think any of the color combinations will look good as they're striding over the goal line or laying somebody flat. If I'm sitting in the Superdome and jamming with my buds while the Cajuns are putting a big butt-whooping on someone... anyone... in any combination of these uniforms... I'm going to dig these uniforms. Uh-huh... yes sir.

• Why does Louisiana-Lafayette always look like a D-II team? Seriously, that uni number font is just a disaster. If you like subtle details, though, you'll enjoy the fleur-de-lis pattern on the shoulders. Additional photos here.

What is it with this new trend in uniforms? They look like pajamas. I blame Nike for this, but everyone is jumping on the bandwagon for some reason. We don't need 300 pound athletes running around in pajamas.
