What sucks is that I bought a personalized jersey for myself last year, first one I've ever gotten...I guess now its a throwback jersey!

I like the initiative and the change but it would have been cool if they came up with a few other prototypes and got the fans involved in a vote or something. Our comments and opinions after the fact really don't matter at this point. Anyway, the changes keep a coming with Hud at the helm. Let's hope they manifest themselves on the field as well.
Understood but I think that bringing in the fans into the equation would only create more difficulty in the process and that is something that is not needed. I can only imagine having to field hundreds of comments and suggestions with very likely no real consensus amongst the fans, players and coaches as to which uniforms look the best. There's always going to be a group that just don't like what is chosen. I think its a complication that is not needed. Besides, the coaches have the benefit of dealing with players and prospective players on a daily basis and know what types of uni's that they like. This is as much about creating a new culture and attitude with players remaining and those we are trying to get and they are really who we are trying to reach.
One of the most horrible days of my life was getting killed in Ruston my Freshman year---Very hot and we were prepared by having pith helmets with a sponge of cold ice water inside when not in the game----Blanco had destroyed nearly all at half time---question--Does wearing a dark or a white helmet effect the heat of the head or body and ergo performance????
I tell you what I'm not reading everyone's comment on this but do wish to make my opinion known =P. I'm not opposed to the uniform change but for the shoulder design, they should have put the lighter color to the end of the sleeve and the darker part to the shoulder area. Basically opposite of the way they did the fading scheme. Cause from far those shoulder pads are going to look rather ugly. And mostly on the red tops...The fashion police have spoken.
Ohh and btw the worst color combo is the Red on black. why you ask? Black is NOT beautiful in this case. It's not a school color. There's enough black on the Tops to do without the black pants. We are NOT the Atlanta Falcons. *puke* Or the old school nWo wolf pack. You people and your black, just cause you want to see something different and "flashy". I hope you get over your fad soon, or go to the Texas Tech forum and praise them, they got new uni's. What can I say, I'm a traditionalist. If the black pants get more than one game I'll just have to shake my head in shame. How does that cheer go? Red, White, Fight Fight Fight!?
Oh no, sorry about that confusion, Sir. I understand the black on red letter contrast. I meant to identify the Red tops and black bottoms. I don't agree with black serving such a majority, any where in the uniform.
Dear people who are still whining about the black uni's,
have you looked at the poll results? clearly a large number of people like this uni combo, in fact its the most popular new uni combo! look I appreciate reading your opinions and am not asking for anybody to stop giving them but i do ask that you please stop assuming that you are the majority of people and that everyone on this board mush think the same way as you do. Black is an accent color, and will continue to be part of our color scheme for all sports going into the future, so it may pay to embrace it just a little.
Thanks
I think that the new uni's look good. Although "black" is not a school color, I think that using it to accent the outlines is OK. I also echo the other comments around here... Just WIN baby!!!!!
