Thread: Plenty of Options at Running Back

  1. Default Plenty of Options at Running Back

A year ago, the freshman back who made the biggest impression was Spikes. The 5-10, 195-pounder from Dallas was the team's leading rusher with 339 yards and two scores on 103 carries and also was the offense's second-leading receiver with 23 receptions for 398 yards and six touchdowns.

"I'm a versatile back," Spikes said. "I can run it or catch it, whatever I have to do, I'm going to do. I'm very focused and ready to go."

Hitting the hole at the precise moment the play was designed for, is crucial for success.

If they have Alonzo Harris/Yobes Walker leading the way and Qyen Griffin to follow, Holes will not be a problem.

    Interesting last paragraph.

"It's going to be the ones who pick it up quicker mentally," Lovings said. "The number one thing is ball security and the number two thing is pass protection. If Chris Masson isn't upright, it's going to be hard for him to get the pass off."

Does this mean Masson is going to be the guy? Or did I miss something?
