I just saw that they finished runners-up to Arizona in 1976.

Eastern Michigan was the runnerup to Arizona in 1976. Rollins College made the field in 1954 and finished as a runnerup to Missouri.

Rollins made the championship game undefeated and had defeated Missouri earlier in the tournament. But they lost the most important game. The CWS tournament bracket was real quirky back then.
