While I am in the poll posting mood and figured out how to do it, i will go ahead and leave you with another! Maybe Turbine can merge the two, so everyone can vote for both at the same time...I dont know how to do that! :o)

I hope I am not the only to vote for the one i voted for! Hey, it could happen!
YES! who is with me? I am glad to see another person with my kind of vision! Speak up you mighty one!
i said when i was freshman i would see the football team have a winning record before i graduate. and this i my last year, so it will happen.
I see two people voted for another losing season...I thought you had more confidence then that.Originally Posted by lxa656

I say this EVERY year. Until we prove that we can stop the run, we will not have a winning program.
I saw nothing in the off-season or signing day that suggested we were going to have much improved D-Line or LB play THIS SEASON.
There is a giant hole in the middle of this defense.
Our defensive tackles and linebackers are scrappy, yet undersized and inexperienced(LB). When the 2 top teams in our league, Troy and UNT, win with power running games, you better be able to bow up and stop the run.
Offense has more question marks than the defense.
1) Will anybody step up and catch some balls other than Sampy?
2) OL depth is looming as a HUGE concern. I don't like that I'm hearing nothing on Ryan Gilles and Bobby Fails. Where are they? Any injuries to the starting 5 and we're in deep do do.
3)Babb cannot lead this team in rushing again. Either Wallace or Fenroy needs to produce for us NOW. Babb's injury cost us a winning season last season IMHO.
Besides Comiskey and blocking a few kicks, we have the WORST special teams in the league. Kickoff return , Kickoff coverage, Punt return, and Punt coverage as a whole were very poor last season. This HAS to improve.
Yes, we are getting better. But, so are most of the other schools on our schedule.
EMU is not going to be the pushover people think. They have a lot returning to a team that was a top 20 total offense unit in '04.
ULM has 17 starters returning to a team that beat us and finished 5-2 and in 2nd place in league play.
Middle Tennessee has the best passing attack in the league and is always tough at home. That game is a toss-up at best.
Definite win: NWSt
Definite loss: Texas
Everything else could go either way.
After everything you said (and I think you made some good points), why would you have NSU as our only "Definite Win"? I think they will be as tough as some of the lower-tier SBC schools. If nothing else, the in-state pride usually kicks in and helps them get ready for us.Originally Posted by HOTBOUDIN
All of our LB's played last year so they are nto inexperienced they all have recieved a lot of pt. Our D-line was also very young last year and they will be better with the experience they got last year. Defense is going to be ok the only thing that worries me is at WR and I believe with the type of athletes we have there they will be alright.
I predicted a 6-5 season but I think we could be a 7-4 team.

Winning season
I appreciate your analysis. I can also see us having a losing season (anything you've done for ten seasons in a row surely isn't out of the realm of possibility).Originally Posted by HOTBOUDIN
However, I was being facetious.
