How many games will the Cajuns win this season?
9 wins for the Ragin Cajuns
7 wins, could be more if we get on a roll.

DaddyCajun,
SEE YOU AT THE GAME!!!!
I see us winning all games at home and a few on the road.
Over 28,000 at every game.
If the running game picks up we will win more than 6 games this year. We have a two great QB's and a potential "monster" receiving corp. Our offensive line is big, bigger than we usually have, should be tops in the sunbelt in this category. Mark my words, our defensive backfield (as a team) will be ranked in the top 25 throughout the year giving up maybe 185 yards through the air per game. The linebackers will be very fast this year, small, but fast.... The D-line has the breakout ability with two outstanding defensive ends putting pressure each play on the opposing QB. Last but surely not least, we do have the upper hand everytime we are in the redzone, due to the fact that we have a NFL-bound kicker who should post very accurate numbers this year. Mark it down, this is the year that the Cajuns find those winning ways again........My prediction is @ least 6 wins, but I'm leaning toward 7!!!!
Due to our stud RB Mr. Wallace in addition to our other not too bad RB's, and a better defensive line and run defense, I say we have no good excuse not to win at least 6 games. However, with the exception of Texas, I say we can absolutely win every game on our schedule.
Geaux UL! Geaux SBC!
p.s.- That summer camp I'm working at in Pollock has more than a few LSU peeps on staff. As much as I try not to hate LSU, when they'd start singin the LSU fight song for whatever reason, I spewed my usual disapproval and booing, told 'em to go back to Baton Rouge, etc... All in good taste of course! Then once or twice I got into a lil debate with one of them over the whole name thing, and as usual, he couldn't give me any good reasons as to why we shouldn't get our way. Oh, and he gave me the analogy of a gnat biting a bull's ~~~, and guess who's the gnat and who's the bull? You wanna know the funny part about all of this, I'm using his computer at his house in BR to post this message. Well thanks for lettin me vent to y'all. Anyhoo, things are looking up for UL. I can't wait!
Hope I am wrong, can't go higher than 5 wins
0-1 at Texas 13-38
0-2 at Eastern Michigan 21-24
1-2 Northwestern State 38-21
2-2 UCF 31-17
3-2 (1-0) FAU 21-10
4-2 (2-0) at ASU 28-24
4-3 (2-1) at MTSU 35-41
5-3 (3-1) Troy 17-14
5-4 (3-2) at UNT 21-27
6-4 (4-2) FIU 34-20
7-4 (5-2) at ULM 35-31***
New Orleans Bowl
at Tulane (Superdome) 31-27
***3 way tie with Troy and UNT, Troy beat UNT, UNT beat UL, UL beat Troy, UL wins the coin toss.
I'm going to play it safe and say 6 wins. Could be more, could be less. I think the Texas game will show us where we are talent wise. The E. Michigan game will show how well we excute. By the time the Northwestern St. game rolls around we should have a good picture of the season.
My heart wants to predict 7 or 8 wins this season. However, my conservative nature tells me we will win only 6 games. However, with that said, 6 wins would be a two game improvement over the last two years and give the Cajuns a winning record for the first time in a while. I won't be disappointed with any kind of winning season and it will re-confirm the fact that Coach Bustle and his staff are "still" heading this program in the right direction!
