Yeah I think its only a real problem when the child is a prima donna or made out to be one.
ps Brad's let year was 2009, Bustle was gone after 2010.
One more year does not mean you survived past your son.

I'm thinking is much more prevalent problem in little league, travel ball, AAU and even high school. Most guys making 6 figures with a job onthe line won't play little Johnny if it costs the team and potentially his job.
The only thing I would add is concerning the younger Evans, he was known for his temper tantrums at practice. In fact I witnessed it several times, including one incident were he walked over to the water cooler and slung it across the court after Jessie scolded him for not running a play correctly. He was never told to run or leave practice. Out of all the examples you posted, the younger Evans was not the most positive influence to play in the program.
If this discussion is all about Gunner being on the team you folks are wasting time and energy. I don't think Hud sees him as a starter ever. It think I heard that he is being groomed to be the holder for kicks in the future. The kid went to HS in Ms while pops was in La great for both of them if this works out. It will in no way be of detriment to the team.
With an overall 42-23 in 2015, it turns out it doesn't apply to Robe after Austin. (Austin was not on my radar when I started this thread) plus things might be on the horizon that keeps his interest at UL. So I don't expect the post son/coach burnout that I have always worried about to apply with Robichaux.
Marlin is so even keeled, I doubt he is affected.
Even with the current state, I doubt it applies to Hud, he is self motivated , highly paid, and hoping for bigger things.
Still, I worry about the coach/player (regular player) respect mystic being weakened through casual home style responses to dad/coach admonitions. Kids notice normal.
