UL Cannon a Tradition

I miss the cannon too. If the young KA's can't handle it we'll have to call on the old cannon experts from the 70's, the one and only Floyd Yount.

I beleive the cannon was removed becauce you have to have a pyro tech license to fire the cannon. It is insure the safety of the people around the cannon. The cannon is great so in order to for us to use lets get the right people involved to handle this so we can get the cannon. If we would have had it saturday for the FIU game we would have ran out of Ammunition.

What ever it takes the cannon must be a game staple.

I can't verify, but I was told by one student that more than a few boycotted the last 2 games because the cannon was evicted.

Southern Miss fired a curent Military type cannon. That was loud, but our Civil War type cannon has more character and a better sound.

We want our cannon back.
