    Default Gentlemen, check this out.

Not only is ULM a school on the brink of extinction, but they happen to be the home of the largest p**ssy population in Louisiana.

ha...i never grow tired of the crazy person spamming the ____ out of that link. im also glad to see he is one slippery slope away from voyeur photography, so in do time this whole thing will just resolve itself when he graduates to taking pics of athletes in the showers "looking for that damn ul logo" . all in due time

The Hoax, as Z puts it, are crumbling.

ULM and Tech need to swap conferences. We need to think of a strategy that assists Wright Waters in that process (without use of memorandums of understanding). If ULM were added to the WAC... and it seems ULM qualifies as much as anyone else they've been adding... Tech would drop 95% of their objections to the SBC. Eliminating ULM from our conference would also eliminate a huge amount of our name issues with media. Tech wouldn't end up caring about that.

ULM has the final remnants of a propped up football program and it resulted in a high preseason SBC ranking. I kind of like the disrespect shown UL in the rankings. We are going to kick the Hoax's asses this year and leave them flopping in our dust trail.

They've gone "all in" in football to the expense of the other programs.

    The result?

Football in Monroe has risen to the level of just Mediocre while the rest is a smoldering shambles.

I completely understand underfunded mid-majors attempting this move. It is a high risk, high reward move. I think many are finding out that when you "miss", it slaps you down hard. LaTech almost succeeded with this strategy. If the WAC had held together... AND Dooley had stayed and turned out to be half the football coach Tech thinks he is (was)... Tech might have launched football... and then propped their other sports back up. It is an understandable strategy when you don't have practically "unlimited" funds. However, starving everyone else in the hope football hits the big time and then pulls everyone else out of the dumpster... is a HUGE risk. If Tech doesn't think they "sold out" in football, they sure didn't know Derek Dooley and "his plan" very well.

As for ULM... it doesn't matter what their strategy is... they are simply in a very difficult situation.

I am a big "football drives the athletic bus club member"... but whether UL might have gone down the path of "almost football only"... we did not. UL is on the cusp of moving into a major football development. I can only hope those who feel a stronger affinity for something else, do not interfere. It is past, past time for football to lead UL athletics into a much deeper relationship with alumni and the community. Because the other major programs are in good shape... we'll be at a serious advantage when football clicks.

I believe you are correct, IMO by making improvements that will carry the spring sports for decades allows UL to finally fully invest in football. Let's be honest here Softball, Baseball, and Track do not need tons of cash. They just need great facilities to compete and we are 2 years from having those facilities complete.

Once that is done then you will see a Hud lead football program begin playing in a completely renovated Cajun Field.

Agree completely. I have no problem with our current strategy.

I think Softball and Baseball deserved attention due to the World Series appearances.

But when these renovations are finished football can't be put off a day longer. If Hud leaves because we didn't keep our part of the bargain we may not get another chance.
