I think he had a good 4 year stretch. 4 years is usually long enough for an international coach. Looks like Jurgen Klinsmann is his successor.

Bob did a good job with the players he had. Our big problem isn't coaching. It's our lack of players and player development. Hopefully Jurgen Klinsmann can help with that.
