Christi and her USA team secured a win over Japan tonight in the World Cup of Softball. The game went seven innings and the score was 6-4. The young team, with only 6 USA National Team veterans, came together to beat a very seasoned Japanese team. The Japanese team had many players who had played in and won the gold at the 2008 Olympics.
Many of the players on the USA team are still in college and have never suited up in the USA uniform.

In the Abbeville Mer. their former Swimmer got Headlines with their former wide receiver Toliver sub head---Couple of days ago their former golfer got the Headline---Christi got a mention in the article that she popped out after fouling a sure double and hitting to the fence on the pop -out!!!!!Hey Beau need to get on them!!!!!
"When her name comes on the TV screen and they say Christi Orgeron from Louisiana and she's playing for the Ragin' Cajuns, that gives you a sense of pride," UL co-head coach Michael Lotief said. "She's the first Louisiana kid to represent our team and our ...
