Kevin Ardion 90% chance will start game # 1 although not final could change between now and friday night.

This is the lineup"I" believe will start friday night.

    1st--John Coker CF
    2nd--Josh Landry LF
    3rd--Justin Merindino 2B
4th-or-5th Dallas Morris 3B My bet Dallas would be in the 4 hole due
4th-or-5th Johnathan Lucroy DH to being more experience.
    6th--John McCarty RF
7th--Phillip Hawke 1B McCarthy hits lefty real well and should
8th--Micah Cockrell SS get the nod above Hawke
9th--Justin Morgan C Morgan & Cockrell could also flipflop

This lineup is real flexible but should be close to this. Geaux Cajuns......

I know Hawke would love to stick it to the tide since he comes from a family of long time Bama haters. He has had success against both Bama 2/3 at Minute Maid Park and Tulane 2/4 with a HR at Turchin in 2003.

Just got word from someone on the team that Ardoin is throwing against Alabama almost positively. Also said that the lineup is posted gameday so they aren't sure about Hawke/Tatford or whatnot. Alabama is supposed to throw Wade Leblanc, coming from the leftside with HEAT. Not sure how our record is against lefty's but I hope we can touch him up for some runs. GO CAJUNS, ROLL the TIDE.

Leblanc is a southpaw from Lake Charles(Barbe H.S.) that throws hard but we have faced many lefty's this year so me should be comfortable also 3 of our top contact hitters are lefty (Hawke-Landry-McCarthy)

As we've shown with pelphry earlier, the harder they throw, the harder we hit.

Well, with no bias towards any players, I hope that Hawke starts at 1B. I believe he will and I am sure Coach Robe will, simply because he is a senior! Tatford has the magic stick and I hope will DH. Lucroy comes in off of the bench. And Finally McCarthy will find the stick he had in the first half of the season!

GEAUX Cajuns! See ya in Omaha!

Since Lucroy is the team's leading hitter, I would imagine he'd be in the lineup as usual.

the only questions are who starts at first base and behind the plate.

If they throw LeBlanc, Preciado will start in right. If they throw a righty, then it will be McCarthy.

Morgan has slumped badly lately. I think Robe wiill let Ardoin choose his catcher for game one.

This is the craziest think that I have every heard? Kevin don't decides who catches for him. Regardless Morgan will start due to his defensive ability.

Massiatte is every bit as good defensively as Morgan. Morgan has been starting since Minnesota because he has been hitting.

Massiatte is better at throwing out baserunners than Morgan.

Since we're all agreeing about how important our pitching is, I say you give Ardoin the choice of who he's more comfortable with.

Right now, neither catcher is hitting much, and both are good defensively.

All the pitchers prefer Morgan: that is a FACT.... He manages a game better than Adam. Adam is better throwing out runners due to the fact that more runners are on base when he catches. The team ERA is lower when Justin catches do the math. This is not knocking Adam it's just the game management area Justin is superior in that respect. Regardless Kevin prefers Justin and Justin started in the 2002 regional as a freshman. Justin will start they don't call him captain for nothing. Go Cajuns......
