Ragin' Cajuns await word on NCAA play Monday
MIAMI - The University of Louisiana's baseball team will find out its NCAA fate Monday morning, not long after the Cajuns' return from the Sun Belt Tournament.
UL returns Sunday afternoon, flying into New Orleans and busing from there, and the team will gather at Buffalo Wild Wings on Ambassador Caffery at 10:30 a.m. Monday to watch the NCAA Tournament bracket announcement over ESPN.
The announcement gathering is open to the public.
The 16 regional sites will be released Sunday in a 2:30 p.m. announcement over ESPNews, and the full 64-team field will be slotted into the 16 regional sites in Monday's announcement.
The Cajuns are expected to be a number two seed at one of those sites.
