    Default May 24th Regional Projections

Mr. Mark @ Sebaseball.com now has the Cajuns projected as followed:

Tulane Regional--With Tulane being a #1 national seed.

    (#1 seed) Tulane--(HOST)
    (#4 seed) Southern
    (#2 seed) Louisiana-Lafayette
    (#3 seed) Auburn

Sebaseball.com also has the Cajuns in @ # 20 in the new polls.

If this regional would play out this way it would be tougher than it looks.

: Tulane is the top ranked team in the country.
: Auburn has the # 1 sos (strength of schedule) in the country.
: Southern is the SWAC tourney champs and has beaten Lspuke this year.

It would be a very tough regional. Remember the trouble Southern gave us earlier this year.

Correct if I am wrong, but didnt we blow them out? Had something like 14 runs and it kinda looked like the Cajuns were playing a softball team from Pelican park?

I know it was early, but the region really wouldnt be any fun, for Tulane either! I personally want to go to an SEC regional! IMO, the SEC has weak pitching overall and the Cajun bats could keep up with the SEC bats. I would give us an edge over the highly overrated SEC teams. Prefer to stay away from top notch pitching from Tulane or the Big 12. BUt thats just me!

Did anyone recieve a mailout from UL Athletics about the regional bid and getting your seats? This must have been mailed out prior to the end of the Weekend series, because as for as I have listened to or read, the Cajuns blew any chance of hosting am I not right??

Can someone tell me how to get on all of these mailing lists? I would like to get that kind of info, ie football season tickets. Anyway, just curious!

Sorry dude. You are wrong.(not trying to be an a-hole )

The final was 11-7 and both teams had 12 hits. I don't consider this to be a blowout. Southern can really swing the bat. Ask LSU.

I didn't mean we would lose. I just think it would be tough. I think we will win no matter what regional we are sent to.
