Louisiana-Lafayette, a College World Series participant in 2000, will enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed, followed by South Alabama, Florida International and Middle Tennessee. New Mexico State enters as the No. 5 seed, while Arkansas State, New Orleans and Western Kentucky round out the field as seeds six through eight respectively.
