Are they going to call the turf sidelines at the Tech girls softball field the Ryckman Foul Territory due to your huge donation?

He complimented Tech one time. I think that was his only "misspoke" so far.

When Hud stacks up the work he has ahead of him, he isn't worried about taking the blame for premature rennovation speak. It could very well be that a $40 million rennovation begins its first phase in 2012... and it damn well better. Unlike an administrator at UL, the coach that is taking over a football program that has floundered for decades, has to use every bit of hype at his disposal. I don't think he said something false.

Hud let some cat fur out of that Cajun Field rennovation bag. The dude is smart. I know exactly what he's doing. The dude is special. We have a winner. The pressure that turns a chunk of coal into a diamond is underway. I love it.

Oil Man's Stadium is the way---think about the Millions and millions of dollars that can be pledged by the oil service companies and the oil companies themselves---Drop in the bucket---Now some financial guy put up some numbers of how we get the 40 mil---Surely we borrow and have an ongoing pledge from various companies---Can the students chip in any??? Phase one we bowl the deal ---phase2 we do the press Box and ----Phase 3 We complete the extras---well something like that ---How many oil field companies in the Acadiana area???? Maybe we could pick up enough between Lafayette and New Iberia---400 companies giving 100k over 3 years---or say 200 companies giving 200K over 3 years!!!!!! Can some on this board provide some ideas????

oil services companies chipping in aint a bad idea, it's just a bad time. There's a few big fish that could swing it solo but they already foot the bill for a lot, check the sponsors at any event you go to UL or not. Not being a negative nancy..just sayin.
I think it's good they threw it out there. It's great to talk about things forever but nothing happens until someone jumps in the pool

im lovin that idea of chopping the upper decks off and making that press and sky boxes, makes a good case for bowling the end zones and creating a much more intimate and killer home field crowd
