Chad Beck has talent, but he is wild and inconsistent. He finished the year at Panola JC
with an 8.50 era. He is very questionable at making any impact next year. But he does have talent.

Again, another dissappointing season at Barton. He finished the year with an 5.80 era.
I don't think either of these JC kids are going to make much of an impact next year. They both are still raw and need to learn how to pitch.

Overall the talent is very good ,especially the highschool signees. But this coaching staff will depend on some very young arms next year. The bats will be fine if the juniors return next year.

Some will prolly be redshirted but that is only a guess. Chase Richard might be drafted so I believe with the kind of talent he will be bringing to the program he could be an immediate impact.

The first 4 I have heard a lot of good things about and I believe hawkins was rated as one of the top 100 high school players in the country. I graduated with Tim and he is a very hard worker and I expect him to do big things at UL.

What are the chance of any of these kids getting drafted? And if they are drafted, will any of them be drafted high enough to make it worth their while to skip college?

As I see it for next year, we should be able to score plenty of runs, but the pitching staff will be a big question.

Has anybody heard what the schedule for next year might look like? Are we going back to Hawaii? What other tournaments could we be playing in? And, are we going to be playing the entire Southland Conference again so we can worry about wheter we are going to be able to host a regional?

Did I count correctly and we have 4(four) 6'5" players coming in??? Looks like some players with some impressive numbers good era's, hitters over 400 and 500 avg, and some big schools were recruiting them!!! CajunEsquire, I am like you, Pumped!! Yes, after the Canopies are all errected, Our Lady of Lourdes Park is built, the whole athletic complex is repaved, Gateways into the Swamp, the Complex are errected, along with the Indoor Practice Facility many people WILL BE PUMPED!!!!!!

We will not have a huge dropoff next year like many anticapate, we will be fine the future is only going to get better. Coach Szelf is a great recruiter and will bring in guys that fit the system.

Hey Logan, Gretta caught a very good game tonight and started off a very key rally with the bat. Yes I would have to agree the Cajun baseball team like Softball, Mens and Womens basketball are ALL reloding!!
