After 2 complete innings
Cajuns--0
Nicholls-5
We still have plenty of game left, this is not a game we can afford to lose
Glass didn't make it out of the 2nd inning, Sanders in to pitch.

We know nicholls is always gunning for us that is why we only have a 10 game advantage. Bats need to wake up.

Just have to keep chipping away @ the lead.
Same score after 3 complete
I don't know why, but why does it seem that we struggle this year on the road against much weaker opponents? I know this game is still early, plenty ball game left, but still. Not sure about Sam Houston's RPI, but wouldn't they be considered a somewhat 'weak' team? That bad start at their place just set us up for the lost when we finished the ball game at home. Even though we went to smash them in the second game, it was all played at home. Earlier this year when SE Louisiana came back after our big lead and they took it from us, I would think that we would never play down to a Southland Conference team's level again. Yet tonight, not looking good so far, except the one solo HR. And yes, he's on fire right now.
I think we do play to the level of our opponents, why I dont know? My guess it is harder to get "UP" for a game against weaker teams and easier for them to get "UP" for us.
By the way, I've been out the country since January which means I missed the basketball run and now I'm missing a great baseball season/ softball season. I greatly appreciate ya'lls updates during the game, considering I rely on them since my internet feed for the games stopped working halfway through the season for some reason. Thanks a bunch. Go CAJUNS.
What in the hell is going on!!!!!!!!
I can't believe we are pulling this c&^p at this time of the season. Absolutely no excuse. Somebody please tell me we have some good pitchers coming in next year.
If we lose tonight, any inkling we had of hosting a regional is gone. I still can't beleive we are not better prepared than this knowing what is on the line.
Any score updates???
Still time left hold tight, you are right no excuses this late in season.

Runners at the corners with only one out. Need to continue chipping at the lead. Nicholls bringing in there closer. Hawke at bat.
Hawke hit into double play to end the 6th.
Nicholls - 7
Cajuns - 2

We gave up another run in the bottom of the 6th.
