Cajuns vs Middle Tenn St Game # 2

Cajuns win 16 to 3 to even the series. Currently 43-12 overall and 14-6 sun belt conference, with the win today coupled with South Alabama lost the magic number is 2 to clinch the conference. With a win tomorrow and a South Alabama lost the Cajuns will be champions with one week left to play. If both teams win tomorrow then all the Cajuns need to do is win one game vs Western Kentucky next week. Congrats to Lady Cajuns--they win the conference tourney for the 6th time and is the only conference champs in sun belt history.

Cajuns also had 23 base hits along with the 16 runs, it was nice to be able to bounce back after a "rare" off night friday. Geaux Cajuns.

We need for Ardoin to get back on track. He has had several bad starts in a row. We can not afford to have off nights like we had Friday when post season rolls around.

By the way, did you all notice what a great job Pecararo did last night. I've been saying it all year long. He is our 3rd starter. (Coach Robe, are you reading this post?)

It also looks like we will not be hosting a regional. Hopefully, they will send us somewhere close so the Cajun Nation can attend.

When I seen that you had replyed to this tread the first thing that popped in my head was that before reading your reply was that Ian pitched and looked good friday night. Salazar will be our # 3 guy but like I told you already just hold tight Ian will get his chance--Side note: I know coach Robe personally and he does't read post from this website he is not only a coach but also a GREAT father and spend his extra time with his family not listening to different people opions on this website. Ian will be a big weapon as a 1 or 2 inning guy in the post season coach Robe said. Ian just doesn't have enough pitches, throwing hard just don't cut it, especially when your control is a issue althought "I" must admit it HAS NOT BEEN A ISSUE THIS YEAR.

Pecoraro does not have enough pitches (most notably a reliable offspeed pitch) to be consistent when facing a lineup for more than one cycle. Hence, he will be used in situations where the Cajuns need one or two innings.

The magic number is two games. But the Cajuns are not champions with just a win tomorrow coupled with a South Alabama loss. New Mexico State is 12-8 and can remain two games behind the Cajuns going into the final weekend.

The Cajuns are the #1 seed with a win tomorrow and a New Mexico State loss. If the Cajuns win, a South Alabama loss is not required to finish seeded ahead of the Jaguars. The Cajuns would also win the tiebreaker if UL, USA, and NMSU were all tied at 15-9.

It was a 3-rbi triple that allowed Coker to score with the error throw that went into the dugout. No inside the park homer.

Thanks for keeping me focused. I just get frustrated when we lose.

I don't know Coach Robe personally, but from everything that I have heard about him, he seems to be a truly excellent person. I hope we never lose him.
