  1. Default We Need to Grow Up

Anytime one of us, who are not threatened by LSU and who are not eaten up with envy, try to give an opinion of where we are and what we need to do....we are blasted as a "kitty kitty" or some other childish name. We will always be a second class citizen and a bunch of wanna bees if we continue to act as brats. I, along with many other ULL graduates have always tried to take the higher road and step up onto the next level, but a very negative and quite simple fan base always makes a tremendous amount of "noise" and thwarts our efforts. The noise is obnoxious and without merit, and that noise deters from everything that we have tried to establish. Our children, now of college age, are seeing this nonsense and are wanting to leave our beloved Acadiana, cross the basin and seek an enviroment that is more in line with other college cultures around the nation....LSU. We need to be proud of what we have at ULL, promote what we have and be the best that we can be. Lafayette is a beautiful and unique place; a place that needs to be promoted along with our university. Everyone knows where LSU is, that it is the flagship university and that it is a member of the SEC. How many people know where Lafayette is located, what our culture is like and what we have to offer.....we need ESPN, etc. to promote the University of Louisiana at Lafayette....ULL.....and sell our city...LSU sells our state. We were mad when they kicked us out of Nova Scotia......let us be proud of what we have built....GEAUX CAJUNS!!!

I know you will look at this site for responses to your idiotic post because, as you said yourself, you will be dropping in from time to time.

All I can say is that you are a true idiot, a traitor, and you fit in well with the rest of the LSpuke crowd. Goodbye and good riddance.

I promise, we really dont want or need you! It is people like you that make me sick! If you really do have a diploma from this University, I beg that you take it off of your wall and stick it in storage! I am not saying that I do not support other LA schools, but I am a Cajun first...hence why I chose to get my degree from here! And dont give me the, UL has never given me anything to cheer for excuse!

No one hates or curses her, this is just YOUR fascination and misrepresentation of facts that you claim that we all have!

Actually, yes I do, along with the rest of the SEC!

lol, this one is the best! I see that you have so much time on YOUR hands to come over on this board: sign up/register, make posts, and start your own thread to banter on how we banter! Not to mention, your stats and info is way off in left field, you must be the guy everyone laughs at on your own board!

Wrong again! Actually, UL's regional was one of the top 3 regions in the entire tournament! Oh, and we dont need YOUR support!

Anyway, dont mind if you dont respond, enjoy your life! Geaux away and good luck with your future encounters! I think we are all content in ending the road here!

Geaux away. Really, what perverse interest is satisfied by posting these things? Do you fancy yourself as clever? Here's a bit of advice - you shouldn't. Nobody here has any interest in your rants. So, just shut up and save it for the TAF rallies.

By the way, I enjoyed how you originally came on the board "disguised" as a UL fan and transparently raising topics that suited your pro-LSU agenda. When that failed to prompt the responses you had hoped, you dropped the charade and showed your true identity.

I will be the first to admit I am no baseball fan, but if that isn't a serious assault to all UL baseball fans I don't know what is.

All of the unfounded hatred made me embarassed to say that I was a USL graduate, much less a sports supporter.

I have joined the Tiger Athletic Foundation, hold season tickets to 4 LSU sports and still sneak in to watch Cajun Football and Baseball when the Tigers are not in town.

I was a season ticket holder to Lady Cajun Softball and watched Yvette build a very competitive program with "0"....NO HELP....from the university nor Dr. Otta Retire. Once she is rewarded for her success, given a raise and an opportunity to build another program.....you all forgot who in the hell built the Lady Cajun Softball Program and cursed her!! Do you think that they hate Bear Bryant at Texas A&M? Do you think Ole Miss hates Tommy Tuberville? I bet you all hate Butch Pierre ?! When Ricky Bustle realizes that he just can't get enough quality athletes at ULL and leaves.....will you hate him too??

The reason that we come to these websites is to see if what we hear is REALLY true....amazingly, it is!!! WOW!! What little time you all have on your hands! It is also amazing how you all banter around WRONG and TOTALLY INACCURATE statistics and information......almost as regualrly as Jay Walker does on the air. You have no concept nor understanding of the workings of the NCAA nor any other major conference!!

However, there will be more visitors from LSU and other SEC schools, because I will certainly spread the site address for the pure reading pleasure and comic relief of others.

I do wish the Cajuns the best in post-season play, wherever they are sent, and if by some miracle they do host a Regional, and we don't, we will be at The Tigue to support the Cajuns. Believe or not, we do realize that Tony has a very good team, with a descent attitude and they may be able to do something in the post season. Don't say that you don't need the support, because the last time you had a Regional, nobody came.......probably why the NCAA will have a hard time giving you another chance.

Oh well, continue your posting as we will drop in from time to time for comic relief, but don't waste your energy responding, because I REALLY don't care and will be getting on a plane to Hilton Head in about an hour and certainly will be too busy to look for a reply........BUT, I know you won't be able to help yourselves so go ahead!!!!! Don't spend too much time, you might miss that first pitch at The Tigue for that ever so important Sunbelt match-up.....you are going to The Tigue, aren't you???

    Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Geaux Cajuns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least you finally 'fesed up. In your first few post here you tried to present yourself as a Cajun fan but now you've revealed your true colors and they aren't vermillion and white but purple and p!ss. Just like the bunch that's always on KPEL complaining about the lack of success at UL and the lack of a big-time atmosphere it turns out that you are another Cajun alum who has turned his back on UL. When all of your friends in TAF start to put UL down be sure to stand up and take a bow because guys like you are a big part of the lack of success and a big-time atmosphere at Cajun events. If you and all of the other Cajun alums would send your support, both monetary and physically, to UL rather than State we would be that much further along in reaching our goals. You tell us to worry about ourselves? How about including yourself in that statement and start supporting your alma mater and build a successful program. Or is it just easier for you to jump on the p&g bandwagon and suck up to your buddies in TAF?
