Most losses in a row EVER was 4

At one point this season LSU softball lost nine games in a row. I did not then and would not now have brought up the subject, except I thought I would set the record straight on Yvette Girouard's recent slip of the memory.

"Nine losses in a row was the most ever for me," Girouard said. "Or maybe in my first year of coaching (at ULL in 1981). I was hired in October, and we didn't have any scholarships. But this was the most challenging to go through."

The most softball losses in a row UL has ever experienced was 4 and yes Yvette is right it was her first year.
