Maurice is planning to make an official visit to campus next week. Great kid and an awesome recruit. He is so easy to overlook and underestimate, but boy does he produce (he favors production and W's to flash), but don't sleep, he will make a defender look foolish with his dribble.

I would take a guy that can see the game, direct the game, one that is mentally a step ahead of the game, over an inconsistent all world talent that won't fully mature until he is in the preaux's.

Keep in mind Maurice is the former Baltimore High School player of the year for the legendary Dunbar High School. Furthermore Maurice is a great student, he didn't need basketball to get to college, he was a full qualifier out of high school and went the Juco route to boost recruiting.
When I wrote my evaluation of him, it was before his freshman season at Blinn, he is certainly better with an additional year under his belt. This could be an easy way for UL to begin a pipeline to Baltimore.

I definitely could be wrong---but Wasn't a former Cajun under Shipley from Dunbar?---Big guy played with Ivory etc. ---MY guess is Garland Williams!!!!
