I definitely could be wrong---but Wasn't a former Cajun under Shipley from Dunbar?---Big guy played with Ivory etc. ---MY guess is Garland Williams!!!!

I caught that part of the show and coach Lee said that it was 2 point guards. Both of them were very good, but one of them "brings a little more to the table" if I quoted correctly. He scores a little more than the other, but he'll take either.

I believe Maurice's visit is not until Monday and not this weekend, but don't quote me on that just yet.

Also, Maurice was/is recruited by quite a few Sun Belt schools. Denver worked hard to sign him after his freshman season, but he chose to return to Blinn, Arkansas State did an in home visit with him, and North Texas pursued him as a freshman, all of the school offered a scholarship at one point. Maurice was also looked at by UTEP, Seton Hall, TCU, East Carolina (before their coaching change), Wisconsin and Wake Forest this year. Last Year Nevada, Hawaii, and Florida International tried to land him during the summer.

I am saying that he is a good catch if reeled in and you have a good shot of reeling him in! The true point is that alot of different colleges looked at him as a strong recruit.

Wow! Barksdale, LA does have a nice ring to it! LOL I guess we could always name an Air Force base after him
