NMSU win 9 to 8 and scores three in the bottom of the ninth. Coach Robe will not be happy at all. Micah just didn't have it today.

Hate to say it, but Cockrell just needs to stick to SS.

I agree. And what in the hell does Coach Robe have against Pecarerro. He was a quality starter for us last year. Yes, I know he had controll issues on occassion, but he has not had any problems when he has had a chance this year.

Oh well, a conference series win in that ball park is still great. The one thing I was extremely happy with is that we hit the ball for 3 games in a row. We were agressive. We need that in every game.

I am sorry I called you that, it was just in the heat of the moment, we all say thing that after we think about it don't realize what we said(including me and you and everybody else far that matter) I just didn't appreciate you pointing something as stupid as that out. It was pointless you knew who I was talking about. That being said there is no hard feeling on my part. Just tell me what section, row and seat you sit in and I will apologize in person, sorry. Thanks JMVCAJUN.

Ian hasn't pitched much this year to know if he has any control problem. Why he hasn't see much action this year is because he only has two pitches and it is hard to win like that. Example: Thad added a third pitch(changeup) this season and it is like night and day from last season Thad is our main set-up guy. He wasn't really a quality starter last year(I am by know means knocking Ian) we just didn't have much with Pat Green hurt most of the year and Austin Faught on medical redshirt. That being said the guys we have now give the Cajuns a better chance to win and will be a part of the future and therefore need innings to develop. Coach Robe has said that Ian can be a weapon in the post season for the Cajuns. Just hold tight when the post season starts anything can happen and different players who have not contributed much usually steps up.

The Cajun’s achilles heel has been exposed. This team has problems with pitchers that throw the change up well. The losses to FIU, ArkLR and NMSU have all been to very good change up pitchers. We will see more in the regional, I can assure you. Teams will get good scouting reports on our hitters and we must learn to adjust.

I think our main problem is that know one has really stepped up in the #3 starter role.
You need at least three quality pitchers in a regional. In 2002 we had Gros and Gabriel and won the first two games and then you know what happened after that. I would fell better in a super regional then a regional with our pitching staff. Case in point Faught and Ardion are 20-1 and the rest of the team is 21-10 which isn't bad but might not cut it in a regional. We havent found a steady # 3 guy yet we will just have to hope that once post season starts that one of the guys will get hot.

Salazar should get a chance to start on sundays, hes now had 3 solid outings in a row, and he could pitch very well. As for Pecoraro, even if he is a 2 pitch guy, we are talking about needing to only get a few guys out. I dont think we should use him for more than 2 innings of work, but he can throw some heat. Anyway, what happened to CJ blue, and Cottrell, I havent seen either being used almost at all.

No problem, my friend! Your apology is truly accepted. Jonathon's mother and grandfather were at the the Little Rock series, and during our conversation they pointed out that a number of people/fans pronounce Lucroy as Lecroy. I was simply mentioning it so that you would not be one of those pronouncing it incorrectly. I did not realize it was typo. And you are correct, it does not amount to a hill of beans! I know the heat of the moment urge. I had a written different reply to your post, but I took a deep breath, sat back, and reflected on your answer. My reply would only have inflamed the issue, and would not have settled anything. I might add that you are a "big person", and I appreciate it very much. Not too many of you folks in this world today. I would like to meet you. My seat is in Section I, row M, seat 15(right on the aisle).
